FINA Headquarters

The relevance of swimming in the Olympic Games, along with the remarkable increase in the practice of this sport and the proliferation of competitions in all five continents, have understandably led to an increased complexity and responsibility in its governing body at international level.
The International Swimming Federation, located in Lausanne (Switzerland), decided to move its headquarters to a neo-Gothic 1876 building surrounded by an elegant garden, where the organization has been allowed to erect a newly building.
The severe rehabilitation of the existing villa and the construction of a modern building and an underground car park will allow the FINA to have all the necessary resources for an optimal administration of world swimming.
